Tobias, I criticised an earlier article of yours. I can’t fault this one, however. The problem that you, and others, seem to be overlooking is that a general election, referendum or any attempt to negotiate a revised deal, require us to remain in the EU beyond the deadline for European Elections. Such a delay, and participation in those elections, would surely infuriate “leave” voters. Even the present bunch of politicians in Westminster are not so stupid as to support such an outcome. Although as you say, “really, anything at all could happen.”
