Shiva, I think the point of the article was that there are no 'flat lines'. Athletic ability, like all human abilities, is a spectrum even within 'cis' gendered people. Some cis women can excel in some things when compared to some cis men and vice versa. It is not the case that either is 'better' (whatever that means) than the other.
