Our only adaptive option now is to grow gardens, grow community, and grow awareness by withdrawing from the money economy and planting the seeds of a Gaian future by creating inclusive subcultures dedicated to learning, teaching, healing, and creating.

Sounds great but given that so many milions live in cramped over-crowded cities with no access to space in which to create a garden, it is self-evidently unattainable without a massive reduction in population.
