Neither you, nor David Emery in his response, mention the real issue, the one that none of the proposed solutions can deal with. It’s probable that solving climate change, or any of the other symptoms, will actually exacerbate the real issue. The more we do to mitigate the adverse effects of excess consumption the easier we make it for people to breed and for their off-spring to survive for longer. The most urgent problem we face, and which no one is addressing seriously, is population growth.
