I just clapped for David B Morris's comment. I think his language was cruel in the way it ridiculed your ideology. But I do have a serious question, the one implied in his response: how do you propose to distribute the fruits of other people's labor without some element of enforcement? We all have the obligation to undertake sufficient labor to meet our basic needs. Some people are too old, too sick or too young to be able to do that. So the rest must do more and somehow that surplus has to be distributed to them. Capitalism, when properly regulated can do that. Not always successfully, which is why it is necessary to keep monitoring and improving it. How would your alternative achieve it?
