I don't know if you saw my post about this. I'm closer, geographically, to these events than either you or the UK media you refer to. Our regional media, in the Midlands of Ireland, gave an unbiased account of them. I agree with you, had the teacher been a Muslim quoting Sharia law as justification for his behaviour those newspapers would have treated it very differently.
