I am sorry I came across that way, Lindz. On the constrary, I know there is much more that women can achieve. The point I was trying to make was that keeping women ‘in their place’ has been bad for men, too. But I also questioned why it has taken so long for women to reach the position that (all too few of them) have reached today. I acknowledge that men made the rules that kept them in their place. But they were only able to do this with the connivance of women. I would be interested to hear your theory as to why this was. I cannot find reference to any culture, in at least three millennia, in which women are/were dominant. Why is that?
