But we do not have two such parties! That is the core problem. In the 2017 election both parties promised to “honour the referendum result”. Neither was clear about the kind of Brexit on offer. Having lost the election May should have talked to Corbyn to try to establish how they could together deliver on their promise. Except, I’m not sure either would have listened to the other!
