Actually it is not impossible. What's more, it can help explain why so many of the predictions you cite did not come to pass. The one effect can mitigate the other. The rising temperatures of both the atmosphere and the oceans are real phenomena and there is an undeniable corelation between them and the increased volume of CO2 etc. in the atmosphere. The real data recorded in the 21st century are consistent with predictions made at the end of the nineteenth.
